MVP Development

MVP development services that prove the idea before you spend the runway.

Web app, SaaS and mobile MVPs for founders and startups worldwide, with clients across the US, UK and Australia. We scope the smallest product that tests your core idea with real users, build it on a stack that can grow, and help you decide what to build next from real usage data.

The problem

Most MVPs are either too small to learn from or too big to finish.

Founders tend to get the MVP wrong in one of two directions. Some ship a prototype so thin that users can't tell whether the idea works. Others build half the roadmap, burn six months of runway, and launch into silence.

The second problem shows up later. An MVP built on shortcuts - no real authentication, no billing, a database nobody can extend - works for fifty users and then has to be rewritten just as traction arrives.

We build MVPs the other way round: one core use case, proven with real users, on foundations you won't have to throw away. Scope is agreed up front, in writing, so the budget and the launch date stay predictable.

What this includes

Everything that ships with an MVP development engagement

Product discovery and scoping

User and problem interviews, a ranked feature list, and a written MVP scope that separates what proves the idea from what can wait.

Clickable prototype

A tested prototype of the core flow before development starts, so you can put it in front of users or investors early.

Web and SaaS MVPs

React and Next.js front ends, Node.js or Python back ends and PostgreSQL, with real authentication, billing and roles from day one.

Mobile app MVPs

iOS and Android together with React Native where it fits, including App Store and Google Play submission.

Analytics and feedback loops

Event tracking, error monitoring and in-app feedback, so you learn from real usage instead of guessing.

Launch support

Staging and production environments, monitoring, and a planned launch to your first users.

Post-launch iteration

Two-week sprints after launch to act on what users actually do, not the original wish list.

Handover-ready code

Documented code in your repository and accounts in your name, so you can grow the team or bring development in-house later.

How we approach this

How we build an MVP.

1

Discovery and scope

1-2 weeks

We map your users, the problem and the one outcome the MVP must prove, then agree a written scope and fixed price before any build starts.

2

Design and prototype

1-3 weeks

Core screens and a clickable prototype of the main flow, tested with real users where possible. You approve before development starts.

3

Build

6-12 weeks

Two-week sprints with a working build in your hands every sprint, on a stack chosen to grow with the product.

4

Launch and learn

Ongoing

Launch to your first users with analytics in place, then decide what to build next from real usage, not assumptions.

What you can expect

What a well-scoped MVP gives you.

8-16

Weeks from discovery to launch on a typical MVP

1

Core use case proven with real users before the roadmap grows

Day one

Authentication, billing and analytics built in, not bolted on later

Yours

Code, repository and accounts owned by you from the start

Common questions

Common questions about MVP Development Services

It depends on what the MVP has to do. A focused mobile app MVP starts at around US$12,000, and a B2B SaaS MVP with multi-tenancy, roles and billing typically runs US$40,000 to US$80,000. Integrations, compliance requirements and the number of user types move the number most. We give you a fixed scope and price after a short discovery phase.
Most MVPs launch 8 to 16 weeks after discovery starts: 1 to 2 weeks of scoping, 1 to 3 weeks of design and prototyping, and 6 to 12 weeks of build. A mobile MVP with a simple backend sits at the shorter end; a SaaS MVP with billing and roles sits at the longer end.
A prototype shows how the product would work, but nobody can really use it. An MVP is working software that real users can sign up for and use to solve one real problem, so it tells you whether the idea works, not just whether people like the look of it. We often build a clickable prototype first, then the MVP.
Yes, often. We handle the technical decisions, from stack and architecture to hosting and app store submission, and explain them in plain English. You get a working build to review every two weeks, so you're judging the product, not reading specs.
Not if it's built properly. We keep the scope small but the foundations real: proper authentication, a database you can extend, and code another team can read. What usually gets replaced later is the features users didn't want, not the core platform.
You do, from day one. The code lives in your repository, and hosting, app store and third-party accounts are in your name. If you later hire in-house engineers, they pick up where we left off.
Yes. Most clients keep working with us in two-week sprints after launch, using analytics and user feedback to decide what to build next, fix what isn't working, and scale what is.
