Community SaaS Venture
A unified community SaaS for a global diaspora — directory, matrimony, events, heritage, and news on one identity layer.

Khadayata Community Portal is a members-only SaaS for the Khadayata community across India and the diaspora. Directory, events, group communication, and member profiles — built and operated end-to-end as a long-term community asset.
The portal lives behind an auth gate. Members search a structured directory, RSVP to events, browse group announcements, and update their own profiles. There's no public indexing, no opportunistic scraping — it's a real private space for a real community.
Moderation tooling is built in, not bolted on. Group admins can pin announcements, remove off-topic posts, and manage member access without escalating to support every time.
Community organizations have outsized impact but are usually stuck with off-the-shelf tools — Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, generic membership platforms — that don't fit their structure or their privacy expectations.
We built Khadayata to prove a small senior team could ship a real community SaaS, and to learn what running one teaches you about retention, moderation, and the slow compounding of trust in a private community.
It also gave us a real product to operate over years, not just months — the kind of timeline where community dynamics actually surface. The lessons fed straight back into how we scope and run client community projects.
Searchable, opt-in member directory with structured profile data — family, profession, location — designed for a community that spans India and the diaspora.
Event listings, RSVPs, group announcements, and a moderation flow that keeps the community space healthy without scaling support to infinity.
Auth gates that keep the community space private. No public indexing, no opportunistic scraping — members get a real private space online.
Built and operated by BrainFeed. The portal is in active use by the Khadayata community, with member onboarding, directory search, and event discovery all in routine use.
Ongoing improvements feed in monthly — directory filtering, event reminders, profile completion nudges. The community uses it; we operate it; the loop is closed.
Running a community SaaS teaches you what off-the-shelf community platforms miss — moderation tools that admins actually use, member privacy expectations, the slow compounding of trust. We bring that operational knowledge to every client project that touches community, membership, or user-generated content. Building it is one skill; running it for years is another.
