AllWell is a private family safety app. This policy explains what it records, where that lives, who can see it, and how to delete it. It covers the app only — this website has its own privacy policy. If anything here is unclear, email privacy@brainfeedsolutions.com.

AllWell is a family safety app. To do its job it records the following about each member who installs it:
Precise location, in the background as well as in the foreground, together with speed, heading, altitude and accuracy. This is what makes arrival and departure alerts, trip detection and an SOS position possible.
Accelerometer and gyroscope readings, used to detect harsh braking, hard acceleration and cornering — and, on iPhones without Apple’s own Crash Detection, the signature of a probable crash.
Start and end time, distance, duration, top and average speed, the driving-event counts above, a driving score, and the route taken.
Battery level, whether the phone is charging, when it was last heard from, whether location permission is granted, and whether sharing is currently paused.
A display name, an optional photo, the device model, and the role held within the family circle.
Names of saved places and their radius, check-in notes, alert rules, and the Apple ID address used to invite someone into the circle.
Each time one member views another member’s location: who looked, whose location it was, and when.
All of it is written to Apple’s CloudKit — specifically the private database of the iCloud account belonging to the family member who created the circle, shared with the other members through Apple’s own sharing mechanism. Some of it is also cached on each member’s device so the app keeps working without a signal.
There is no AllWell server, and there is no route by which we can read this data. A private CloudKit database is accessible only to the Apple ID that owns it and to the people it has been explicitly shared with.
Apple stores and processes it as your family’s iCloud provider. Apple’s handling of it is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
No third-party SDK in this app receives location data, because the app contains no third-party SDKs that collect anything.
Every member can open a log showing exactly who has viewed their location and when. The person being viewed cannot be hidden from, and the viewer cannot delete or edit their own entries. That is deliberate.
Deleted after 30 days, both on the device and in iCloud.
Kept for one year. A trip summary carries no coordinates; the route itself is deleted with the location history at 30 days.
Kept for at least 90 days, and not deletable or editable by the person who did the viewing.
Kept for the life of the family circle, as the record of what happened.
Kept until the member leaves the circle or deletes the app’s data.
Because the data lives in your family’s own iCloud rather than on a server we run, requests to access, correct or delete it are answered by your family rather than by us. Write to us at the address above if you need help doing it.
AllWell is designed for a family that includes minors, and is installed on a minor’s phone by a parent, with the minor’s knowledge. It is not designed for covert monitoring and does not offer a hidden mode.
Where a young person is supervised — meaning a parent can see more of their activity than a peer member can — that supervision carries an end date agreed at the time of installation and announced to them. On that date supervision lifts automatically and they become an equal member of the circle.
A supervised member’s data is handled exactly as any other member’s, including their right to see who has viewed their location and their right to delete their own history.
AllWell is not directed at children under 13 and is not distributed through the App Store Kids Category.
Every one of these can be refused or withdrawn in iOS Settings. The app degrades rather than nagging: a feature that needs a permission says so, and stops.
Data in transit and at rest is protected by Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure and by your device’s own encryption. Access is bound to the Apple ID of each family member.
There is no AllWell password to steal and no AllWell account database to breach, because neither exists.
If what the app collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Material changes will also be raised with the family directly, because the circle is small enough that this is possible.
